La sous-famille des Desmobathrinae se trouve ici enrichie de quatre espèces. L’auteur décrit trois nouvelles espèces du genre Noreia, à savoir Noreia rubralineata n. sp., Noreia puncta n. sp., tous deux des Philippines, et Noreia treillei n. sp. du Viêt Nam (Annam) et des Philippines. Les holotypes sont conservés au MNHN. Enfin, la femelle d’Alex nephodes West, 1930 (stat. nov.), initialement mal identifiée, est présentée pour la première fois ; ce taxon est élevé de nouveau au rang d’espèce.

A new subspecies of Lepidoptera (Papilionoidea) is described from the Pantepui: Caligo suzanna weidmanni Blandin, Attal, Orellana, Neild, Lamas & Costa, n. ssp. (Nymphalidae Satyrinae Brassolini). Caligo suzanna (Deyrolle, 1872), a rare Andean species, is characterized in detail and its taxonomic history, the subject of considerable confusion in the past, is clarified. Distribution data are provided on the new subspecies, which is known exclusively from montane areas of the Pantepui Biogeographic Province. Lectotypes are designated for the following taxa: Pavonia suzanna Deyrolle, 1872, Caligo teucer phorkys Fruhstorfer, 1912, and Caligo teucer nubilus Fruhstorfer, 1907. A new synonymy is established: Caligo teucer phorkys Fruhstorfer, 1912 = Caligo suzanna suzanna (Deyrolle, 1872) n. syn.
